Frisco Heritage knocks off the Blue Hawks 59-54 to end playoff efforts

Rock Hill - The Rock Hill Blue Hawks (17-6) found themselves on the short end of a 59-54 score and saw their inaugural playoff run and season come to an end.  The Blue Hawks were eliminated from the UIL Class 5A state playoffs in their inaugural season by the Frisco Heritage Coyotes (22-5).     

Rock Hill started off their season with lofty goals and expectations and made an excellent run during their inaugural season. Early in the year the Blue Hawks were ranked in the top 10 of the TABC for Class 5A boys basketball and navigated their way through a challenging schedule. 

Playing in an equally tough district with McKinney North, Lovejoy and The Colony, the Blue Hawks finished in third place at 10-4.

Statistical leaders for Rock Hill this season included scoring leader: Grant Shaw (14.9 ppg), rebound reader: Grant Jessen (7.3 rpg), assist leader: Jaythan Jackson (3.4 apg), steals leader: Grant Shaw (1.9 spg) and blocks leader: Grant Jessen (1.6 bpg).
