Prosper Eagles trying to right the ship in district play

The Prosper Eagles boys basketball team dropped a tough 68-46 loss to Allen. The Eagles are currently sitting at the number four spot behind McKinney North, Denton Braswell and Allen in District 5-6A. 

District 5-6A records at this point include McKinney (10-0/22-2; 9th TABC), Denton Braswell (7-2/18-6), Allen (5-5/13-7), Prosper (4-5/12-9), McKinney Boyd (3-6/8-11), Little Elm (2-7/7-11) and Denton Guyer (2-8/8-14).

Upcoming District 5-6A games include: February 5: Little Elm at McKinney, Allen at Denton Braswell and McKinney Boyd at Prosper; February 9: McKinney Boyd at Denton Braswell, Denton Guyer at McKinney and Little Elm at Prosper; February 12: Denton Braswell at Little Elm and Prosper at Denton Guyer.  

Lady Eagles sitting in fourth place in district with one game to go

The Prosper Lady Eagles basketball team dropped a loss to Allen, 39-26 to bring their record to 4-7 in District 5-6A.  The Lady Eagles are 9-15 on the season. 

District 5-6A records at this point include Denton Guyer (11-1/19-5; 14th TABC), Allen (9-1/16-3), Denton Braswell (7-4/10-6), Prosper (4-7/9-15), McKinney (3-8/5-15), Little Elm (3-8/7-13), and McKinney Boyd (0-9/1-13).

Upcoming District 5-6A games include: February 5: Prosper at McKinney Boyd, Denton Braswell at Allen and McKinney at Little Elm. 

District 5A certification for girls basketball is February 9 and Bi-District playoff games take place beginning February 11-13. Going into the Friday, February 5; the top three teams who have qualified for the playoffs are Denton Guyer, Allen and Denton Braswell. Prosper (4-7), McKinney (3-7) and Little Elm (3-8).
