Rock Hill Blue Hawks still sitting at top of District 10-5A

The Rock Hill Blue Hawks ended their 2020 on a winning note on December 30 with a victory over Wylie East 77-45 in a holiday break game in District 10-5A. The Blue Hawks are currently sitting at 8-2 on the season and are still sitting at the TABC #18 ranking for Class 5A in the state. 

Senior Grant Jessen led all scorers with 14 points. Grant Shaw, DJ Eubanks and Anthony Williams all had 11 points for the Blue Hawks on the night. Jaythan Jackson chipped in 10 points to round out the double figure Rock Hill scorers. 

The Blue Hawks are back in action on January 5 hosting Princeton and travel to Lovejoy on Friday, January 8.  

District 10-5A records at this point include Rock Hill (2-0/8-2), The Colony (3-0/6-7), Lovejoy (2-1/8-3), McKinney North (1-1/9-3), Princeton (1-2/3-7), Sherman (1-2/7-7), Denison (0-1/0-5) and Wylie East (0-3/4-12).

Upcoming District 10-5A games include: January 5 - Wylie East at Sherman, Princeton at Rock Hill, The Colony at McKinney North and Lovejoy at Denison; January 8 - Denison at The Colony, McKinney North at Wylie East, Rock Hill at Lovejoy and Sherman @ Princeton.
