Rock Hill boys hoops gets win in District 10-5A opener

Rock Hill - The Rock Hill Blue Hawks got a win in their opening game in District 10-5A with a win over McKinney North 56-41. The Blue Hawks are currently sitting at 7-2 on the season and are still sitting at the TABC #17 ranking for Class 5A in the state.
Senior Grant Shaw (15) and junior Anthony Williams (11) were leading scorers for the Blue Hawks on the night. Holiday break games for the Blue Hawks include a home game against Wylie East on December 30, at Denison on January 2 and then they return home to face Princeton on January 5.
District 10-5A records at this point include Rock Hill (1-0/7-2), The Colony (1-0/4-7), McKinney North (0-1/8-3) and Wylie East (0-1/4-10). The records for the district teams that haven’t played a district game yet include Lovejoy (6-2), Sherman (6-5), Princeton (2-5) and Denison (0-4).
Rock Hill Blue Hawks girls recap:
The Rock Hill girls basketball team dropped to (7-7/2-1) when they fell to McKinney North 67-45. The Lady Blue Hawks will host a home game from Texans Northwest on December 28, home game against Wylie East on 12-30 and travel to Denison on January 2.
District 10-5A records for the girls to this point include Wylie East (3-0/12-3), McKinney North (3-0/10-3), Princeton (2-1/13-1), Rock Hill (2-1/7-7), The Colony (1-2/3-8), Sherman (0-2/2-5), Denison (0-2/3-9) and Lovejoy (0-3/0-9)
