On Oct. 3, youth members of the Prosper stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints donated more than a ton of food and other goods to the Neighbors Nourishing Neighbors food pantry. They had collected the goods throughout September to commemorate the 150th year of the church's Young Women organization, which serves girls ages 11 to 18. The challenge was made to the nine congregations that comprise the Prosper stake to collect at least 150 donated items each.
