Plano - Jason Michael McSperitt passed away on October 3, 2021 in Plano, Texas at the age of 38. Born on September 16, 1983 to Ronnie and Veronica Heap McSperitt in Garland, Texas. Jason graduated from Prosper High School. He was blessed as a natural athlete and excelled at baseball, basketball, football, and golf. He attended Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas. After attending college at Stephen F. Austin, he moved back to North Texas to pursue his career. Jason had a hard work ethic, was well respected among his peers, and excelled at his position at Texas Collision in Plano, which allowed him to manage their largest account with great success. He was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Lexi Ann McSperitt. Jason cherished every moment he spent with her and loved everything about her. He worshiped the ground she walked on. Jason's greatest passion was loving and supporting his daughter who was the light of his life. She could put a smile on his face that would light up any room. Jason was a fun loving, energetic, and compassionate son, brother, uncle, nephew, father, and friend. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the sports he played: basketball, baseball, football, and golf.

Jason was survived by his mother, Veronica Heathcock of Prosper, Texas; sister, LaDana McSperitt Inkman and husband, Tommy of Allen, Texas; sister, Shawna McSperitt Kelly and husband, Steve of Allen, Texas; uncle, Sean Heap of Allen, Texas; niece, Daylan and nephew Dylan Inkman of Allen, Texas; niece, Trystan Coston and husband, Brandon of McKinney, Texas; niece, Karson Kelly of Allen, Texas and many other loving family and friends.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie McSperitt, stepfather, Barry Heathcock, grandmother, Mildred McSperitt, and his grandparents, Philomena and George Cates.

A memorial mass will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 11, 2021 at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas. A remembrance gathering will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
