PROSPER – The Prosper High School tennis program is off to a rocky start this season. After a close loss last weekend to Frisco Centennial, the team returned to their home courts on Thursday, Aug. 17 for another Frisco match-up, this time to Frisco Liberty. The team dropped the match 2-17, but head coach Mandy Bowling said there were some very close matches.
“The team is improving every match. I am very proud of them for their hard work and effort they put into the matches,” Bowling said.
Both boys and girls will be back at home on Friday, Aug. 25 to wrap up their pre-season play before kicking off district the following week. They will play Frisco Heritage at 4 p.m. at the Prosper High School tennis courts.
