Senior Hannah Reynolds was one of 123 girls basketball players from Texas to be nominated for the 2017 McDonald’s All-American game.
The 6-foot-3 Midwestern commit has helped Prosper to a 6-1 start in District 14-5A play. Prosper beat Lake Dallas 79-49 on Friday night.
Of the 123 girls from Texas, 61 of those, including Reynolds is from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
“It’s a huge accomplishment to be recognized on a national scale for the McDonald’s All American Games,” Reynolds said. “It is a blessing to represent Prosper in a positive manner on and off the court.”
The game is scheduled for March 29 in Chicago.
“Being one of the 123 from Texas is astounding because there’s thousands and thousands of others that could’ve been selected,” she said. “It’s definitely an accomplishment, but also motivation to keep growing and getting better as a player, teammate and person.”
