Against Little Elm, Prosper won 70-58 on Monday behind freshman Jordyn Oliver’s 18 points. The Lady Eagles clinched their lead in the third quarter on a 3-pointer from senior Alexa Boushey.

Prosper pulled away during the final two quarters of the game after being tied at the half at 35-35. Oliver led the charge with six points during the fourth quarter. She added eight rebounds and three steals.

Senior Bailey Lightfoot (11 points) and Boushey (11 points) each had multiple 3-pointers. Junior Mackenzie Hewitt made it into double digits, scoring 16 points.

Also chipping in for Prosper were senior Taylor Stevenson (eight points, three rebounds), senior Hannah Reynolds (four points, three rebounds, one block), and junior Lexi Lightfoot (two points, one rebound, one steal). Prosper finished the game with 34 rebounds (20 offensive) and eight steals.

On Friday, Dec. 16, the Lady Eagles got another District 14-5A victory, Prosper emerged 79-38 against Carrollton Newman Smith.

Boushey scored 17 points as the Lady Eagles pulled ahead early with a 30-point first quarter and 50-24 lead by halftime.

Two other players also scored in the double digits for Prosper. Oliver racked up 12 points and Hewitt scored 10 points. Freshman Maddie Cleary (10 points) and senior Bailey Lightfoot (6 points) each made multiple 3-pointers.

Also helping the effort were Stevenson (nine points, one rebound, one steal), Reynolds (nine points, six rebounds), senior Mckayla Zimmerman (two points, one rebound), senior Maggie Peterson (two points, one rebound), and Lexi Lightfoot (two points). Prosper had 33 rebounds and 10 steals.
