Prosper’s Ashley Brown, the all-state setter who graduated in 2015, is going to play college ball at Washington State.
“Very happy to announce I’m officially a part of the Washington State volleyball team,” Brown said on Twitter. “I’m so thankful to be given this incredible opportunity and I’m very thankful to my amazing friends, family and coaches who have helped me through this journey.”
Brown was Setter MVP in 2015, District MVP in 2014 and first team in 2013. She was TGCA and TSWA all state her senior year and TSWA all state her sophomore year.
Brown is making the move from Oklahoma, where she spent this past semester. She had signed with the Sooners last November.
“Want to thank my teammates and best friends here at OU who have been nothing but supportive toward me, I am beyond grateful I got to know each and every one of you,” she continued to say on Twitter. “Excited for this next step in my life.”
