The Prosper boys basketball team got underway this week, and coach Jonathan Ellis said he and the Eagles are looking for another district title.

This year’s team is senior heavy with seven seniors on the 13 man roster.

Prosper started the regular season with a home game against Frisco Lonestar on Nov. 15 and another will be against Argyle Liberty Christian on Nov. 21.

“After 20 wins and a back-to-back co-district championship, the Eagles are again looking to reload after graduating nine seniors and three starters from this last year’s team,” Ellis said. “The Eagles do return six varsity players including Taveion White and Kaleb Adams who started as sophomores. The JV Eagles were also district champions finishing with a 22-2 overall record.”
