Prosper got sweeps over The Colony and Little Elm last week to improve its win streak to 19 games, including 17-straight sweeps.
The Lady Eagles (37-7, 13-0 in 14-5A) clinched the outright district title, their third-straight after sharing the past two years with Lucas Lovejoy.
On Friday, the Lady Eagles dispatched The Colony 25-16, 25-7, 25-11 as senior Abby Gargus had 28 assists and eight digs. Sophomore Ciera Hecht and junior Haley Killinger led with 10 and seven kills, respectively.
Little Elm didn’t fare much better as Prosper won 25-14, 25-9, 25-12 on Tuesday. Gargus had 37 assists and Killinger had a game-high 16 kills. Sophmore Morgan Monroe had four aces and senior Bailey Jetton added seven kills and seven digs.
Prosper also celebrated Senior Night as the school honored Gargus, Katy Weatherly, Jetton and Victoria Mayes.
The Lady Eagles wrapped up the regular season on Tuesday, Oct. 25 against Newman Smith.
Playoffs start on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 with first round action. Prosper, which will be in the Region II bracket, will play the fourth seed out of 13-5A, likely Frisco Liberty. According to standings Liberty is one game back of Frisco, but lose the head-to-head tiebreaker.
