On July 11, while missing two of their leading scorers, Prosper annihilated McKinney 7-2 with PHS’ co-captain Harrison Hood and forward Nick Early leading the way with 2 goals and 2 assists each. co-captain Huston Svondrk also had a goal with 2 assists; Dakota Byker added a goal as did defenseman Asst Capt Ricky Regala. Matt Brock contributed an assist and RMS’ Zach Riley also had one assist.

Eagles continued their winning ways this past Thursday July 18 by beating Frisco 5-3 while missing a leading scorer and top defenseman. Co-captain Huston Svondrk dominated on the ice with 4 goals, Dakota Byker added one more. Gary Burk Jr aka "Jr" added two assists, Ricky Regala added two more, RMS’ own Zach Riley and Cole Turner each had an assist as well. After cracking two ribs, defenseman and co-captain Harrison Hood continued to play, helping lead his team to another solid victory.

Prosper finished the regular season with a winning record of 7-3 with five consecutive dominating victories and takes the fourth overall seed out of ten teams. The first playoff game is set for Thursday, July 25 in McKinney Dr. Pepper Stars Center at 8:30 p.m. against the Allen Eagles. The public is welcome to come cheer for the Eagles as admission is free.
