The student athletic trainers at Prosper High School recently competed for the first time in the North Texas Athletic Trainers Symposium annual Student Athletic Trainer Olympics. The student trainers competed in four events including, ankle taping, splinting, quad wrapping, and a cooler carry.
Prosper High School’s group placed third in North Texas, which is excellent for our first time in the competition. The students were also attended workshops related to the field of Sports Medicine to expand their knowledge.
Bianca Garcia also placed third in North Texas for her individual ankle taping and won a cash prize.
