From Staff Reports

The Prosper Lady Eagles traveled to Denison this past week for their second district game and second district win of the season.

Prosper hit the road once again traveling to Denison to take on the Lady Yellow Jackets. Prosper came into the game with an overall record of 11-1-2 and was looking to stay undefeated in District 17-4A.

In the first half, a stingy Denison defense and goalkeeper kept Prosper off the board for most of the half. Late in the first half, Prosper would finally get on the board with a shot from the outside. Prosper would have to be satisfied with the 1-0 lead going into the half.

The second half would mainly be played on the Denison end, but that stingy defense kept Prosper off the board for most of the second half. Prosper finally found their second goal halfway through the second half. Two more quick goals made sure the Lady Eagles took the 4-0 district road victory.

Now the Lady Eagles were scheduled to face McKinney North on Tuesday. On Friday, both the varsity and the JV teams will take on Sherman in the district home opener.
