The National Association of Home Builders National Sales and Marketing Council announced that Windsong Ranch’s Welcome Center was named the best in the country. The Nationals new home sales and marketing awards salute and honor the best in the building industry for their determination, integrity, creativity and endurance. More than 1,300 entries were received for this year’s awards and greater than 700 homebuilding professionals were in attendance.

"We knew our Welcome Center had to stand out," said Craig Martin, Founding Partner of Terra Verde Group, the developer of Windsong Ranch. "Along with all of the great amenities, what really gives us an edge is the Windsong Café where residents can get a cup of coffee or fresh food cooked with locally sourced ingredients."

Windsong Ranch also received Silver Awards for Master Planned Community of the Year, Best Signage and Best Landscape. Silver Award Winners are the top vote recipients in each category and are finalists for the Gold Award. In addition, the development has received more than a dozen national and industry awards including the Dallas Builders Association 2015 Master Planned Community of the Year.

Windsong Ranch is located 2.5 miles west of the Dallas North Tollway on the north side of SH 380 in Prosper. Upon a projected eight- to 10-year build-out, Windsong Ranch will consist of 3,100 single-family residential lots, 150 acres of mixed-use development along US 380, and 600 acres of open space with native preserves, trails and parks. Homes range from the upper $200s to $900s and feature builders Highland Homes, Drees Custom Homes, Darling Homes, Huntington Homes, David Weekley Homes and Chesmar Homes. This year, Scott Felder Homes, American Legend Homes and Grenadier Homes will open new models to kick off their building programs in Windsong Ranch.New amenities nearing completion include a mountain bike course and a championship disc golf course.
