From Staff Reports

The Prosper Police Department, the Town of Prosper and the Prosper ISD Police Deparmtnet is once again gearing up for its annual Cops with a Claus Program to help local families with gifts around the holiday season. The police department is asking for donations to make this year’s program an even bigger success. The Cops with a Claus Program makes a huge impact on Prosper and Prosper ISD families who are less fortunate during the holiday season. This important work is supported largely by donors, who contribute to our annual capital campaign. This year’s goal is $5,000 dollars, which will allow Cops with a Claus to continue providing to those who are in need in this community. Without the continued support of generous donors like you, these needs will likely go unmet. All donations are tax deductible and 100 percent will go towards the purchase of Christmas gifts for children, who would not receive anything, otherwise. Donors will also be recognized for their generosity as a capital campaign supporter in press releases and at our annual COPS EXPO in the spring.Cops with a Claus is in its twelfth year and is depending on the assistance of the community.
