Allison Jones, Britini Patterson and Bobbi Daily enjoy the breakfast at the PISD convocation before school started back. PISD superintendent Drew Watkins unveiled the theme for this year: Building a Culture of Exceptional.

Over 800 Prosper ISD employees gathered for the annual back-to-school convocation event held at Prosper High School. Pogue Construction of McKinney provided breakfast for all employees. This was followed by a procession to the auditorium led by Prosper High School Band.

The convocation began with the "Star Spangled Banner" performance by 2013 graduate Zack Crosby. His performance brought the house to their feet in a standing ovation. Crosby is attending SMU this fall.
