From Staff Reports
The Texas Association of Future Educator’s group at Prosper High School will sell a t-shit to raise money for a PISD classmate, Cooper Anderson.
Anderson is a 13-year-old seventh grader, who was diagnosed with a type of brain cancer called Gliomatosis Cerebri earlier this year. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy every two weeks.
The t-shirt the TAFE group is selling is grey with the words "Cooper is fighting the fight."
One hundred percent of the profits raised from these shirts will help the Andersons cover medical expenses not covered by insurance such a deductibles, co-payments, not-covered benefits and medications, non-FDA approved chemo drugs with participation of clinical studies, supplements, vitamins, physical therapy, etc.
The group’s goal is to sell 1,000 shirts. The cost of the shirt is $15.
