STEPHENVILLE—Services for Charles Pace Gillespie, Jr., 86, owner of Consulting Environmental Engineers, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with Rev. David Pike officiating. Burial will follow with military honors at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Charles was born in Grand Saline, Texas, to Charles Pace and Carrie (Clapson) Gillespie, Sr. Charles married Ellouise Spencer on November 5, 1954, in Houston, Texas.

He was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and Sons of The Republic of Texas. He was a United States Marine veteran, serving during the Korean conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Ellouise Gillespie of Bluff Dale, Texas; sons, Charlie Gillespie and wife, Sherri Gillespie, of Bluff Dale, Texas, and Mike Gillespie and Francesca Zahrai of Bluff Dale, Texas; grandchildren, Megan and husband, Chris Trammell, Mandi and husband, Don Thompson, Mathew and wife, Lissa Gillespie, and Devan and wife, Caitlin Duree; brother, Robert Gillespie of Fort Worth, Texas; and five great-grandchildren.
