JACKSBORO -- The Celina volleyball team continued its winning ways by capturing the championship in the Jacksboro "Kick It For Kasey" tournament on Saturday.
In bracket play, the Class 3A No. 11-ranked Lady Cats defeated Bridgeport in the first round 25-9, 25-9, then beat Newcastle in the semifinals, 25-17, 25-19. In the title match, Celina outlasted Burkburnett, 22-25, 25-21, 25-18.
Celina (18-3) will put a 13-match winning streak on the line at home against Melissa on Tuesday night.
